HPE Performance in Elizabethtown, Pa. made it. All the piping is custom fabrication. He used the flange off the old cat and the rest is his work. I emailed him for the exact cfm of the cat. I want to say it's 300, but I can't remember and don't want to post the wrong info. That's something I should probably know... I'll get back to you.

I love the wheels and the exhaust sounds great. What size are those Rufs and where did you get them?

Thanks, they are 17x8's in the front, x9's in the rear. They came on the car when I bought it. They were all silver until my friend and I repainted them gunmetal with a brushed lip. Once in a while you can catch a set on eBay. You'll need a 10mm spacer in the rear to clear the oil line.

Yipe - I just grabbed a set off ebay that need a refinish (which worked well since I'm going black centers/polished lip anyway) But I mounted them (carefully) and they didn't appear to need spacers out back. They are 44ET and they even have 275/40's (yoko a032r) and while the tire is very close to rubbing the lower arm, there is room sans spacer, verified after a couple of test runs for susp travel.

Did I miss something or must I have a flattened oil line?

BTW - your car is one of the reasons I went with the Rufs!

No, 44mm rear offset is just about perfect for a large rear tire. If you track the car and you still have stock suspension/alignment, you may get slight rubbing under load with the fender (wing). Otherwise, you should be good to go.

I will have to photo shop and see what mine would look like. Gunmetal centers seem like it could be sweet on my car.

I'm not running spacers on my car with 275's in the rear at euro spec ride height. For the past 2 years of ownership, I've only had very slight rubbing on the crest of the fender where it turns in towards the engine bay. There is some rubbing on the oil line from the previous owner, who did track it. From my research, spacers were needed from the people who have tracked their cars with a bit lower of a ride height. I am thinking about going down in size to a 255/40 for the rear. I should say, spacers may be needed depending on your setup.

I'm happy to have inspired you to get a set of these Ruf's. They're nice, simple and easy to clean. Plus, they'll look great on your car with the refinish. Please post some pics.

Thanks also to the others that have posted - checked last night also and no issues (whew!) I plan on going euro height in the future, but stepping down to 255/40 when I do.

There are ducktails on Ebay that I am assured will fit, cost looks good, and the seller informs me they only need hinge mods to fit......its got me thinking from a while back about a winter projects....
