Anyone been able to fit a rear facing baby seat in the back of their 964? If yes, what kind? Tried a search but nothing in regards to the 964 or rear facing.

I know looking for rear-facing seat now, but probably required later will be rear cheild seats.
I've spent more than 2 months working out what fits in the rear of my 964 for both kiddies. I needed a group 1 (<15kg child) and a group 2 (>15kg child) seat. After many weekends of driving around to many shops and stores in and south of London I eventually found ones that fit!
The group 1 seat is a Britax King Plus. It has the base that fits snuggly into the seat bucket (minus seat pad). A tad fiddly fitting it in with limited space but fits securely. If you find an awkward gap between the back of the child seat and the car seat back there is a proper thick foam roll from most child seat outlets made to take up 'dead space' if any.
The Group 2 seat was easier. A Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR (XR being the imporatnt bit because of the smaller base that fits). More of a normal upright booster seat but with body and head restraint protective sides. Nice and light to.
Both seats maybe on kiddicare.co.uk. Both kids are happy. Reclining them can be tight, as with the Britax I have to have the front seat pushed forward quite a bit if I want to fully recline the child seat. Done a few long journeys now and no problems.
Hope this helps.. I always knew I could make my 964 family friendly!

Same as PNine64, I use a plain old graco rear facing seat for my 9 month old. Front passenger seat is pretty much useless. For my 4 1/2 year old, I have a Cosco seat, no leg room for her though.

We used the Britax infant carrier without the base. Fits well, and is an excellent seat.
This was in my SC with only after-market lap belts, but the 964 rear area is the same.
-I think it still might be for sale at a consignment store in Williamsburg (originally $200)-
When the child gets over one year and you're ready for forward facing the Cosco seat works well and the upper tether mount outlined on the 993 forum works great.
We have been using a 911 as family car since my son was born 2.5 years ago (he was almost born IN the car!) Everybody loves it, but we are a medium-petite size family.
Good luck!

Not worried about the passenger seat being not usable, if the wife comes along we can take her car. Just worried in case I need to go out alone with him/her. Just want something that going to be safe and reliable.

You should be fine if that is the case. A regular "pumpkin seat" with no base should fit and be safe (just make sure it the level on side is centered). Congrats!! Enjoy your sleep while you can.

Does anybody have pics of their infant/child seats in the back of their cars? We are expecting our 2nd child anyday and I can't wait to tell my wife that the kids can fit.

My kids have grown up in the car... I had to get it while they were small or it was never going to happen...

Ok, after some research found a lot of guys using the Graco Snugrider in 996/997's. Luckily a friend of mine had the same seat in his car, not a P car. Got the seat, the base is narrow and fits right into the back seat. Looks like it should fit. Will let everyone know once I try to test fit tomorrow.
