Default Dynamat Advice

Wondering what folks think where are the most effective areas to install Dyanmat?
Thanks!

If you have bucks -- like Jay -- just about anywhere & everywhere will do.

Sorry, I'm not Jay or in the same income league as most folks on this forum.
However, I know Dynamat makes a difference but have also seen where you start to get diminishing returns on entire coverage. The stuff is very heavy and the difference between a 12x12 piece the door panel and covering the entire door panel doesn't make a huge difference.
Just wondering where folks thought it'd be best to install in patches, not entire coverage.
Thanks!

Most of us don't mind noise in 911 and try to remove weight instead of adding it (some don't have a stereo at all ),so I have no idea how to answer this question.
Is the noise so unbearable?

I ripped out the factory stuff because it smelled old. I'm putting the dynamat most everywhere since weight wise it will be about a wash.

If I was using it sparingly, I'd put it on any large flat areas and anything that may get hot (floors, trans tunnel, rear deck). Also areas where the factory had more padding.

Are you planning to rip the carpet out and install new? If not, you are pretty limited on where you could add it.

I just had some extra Dynamat and figured I might as well put it to use.
You're right, there aren't too many area's that you can use it especially since I'm not ripping out any of the carpet.
thanks
