Default Rear seat release **** broken

Hello everybody, I am not new to Rennlist (as you may be able to tell from my handle!) but I am a new 964 owner and am loving every minute I get with the car! I'm not new to 964's or 911's so know a bit about them, but this is my first 911 having had a 944 Turbo and an early 2.5 Boxster previously.

I have tried to search for an answer to my question but cannot find anything... One of the pull out red release ***** on my back seats has broken off. I cannot see anything on the PET about it, does anyone know how it can be fixed or come across this problem before??

Hi Stan. I know for sure that I've read about this exact same issue on rennlist before. I wish I could remember the solution or even the OPs handle but just can't recall right now. Just thought this would renew your search attempts knowing the info is definitely out there. GL

there are 2 styles of seat locks on cabs depending on year. May want to check as coupes may also be different.

Pt No 911 522 231 00 is good for most of the years. It is in the PET, but you need to look in the Seats PET not that for 964s.
