My brother in law has been eyeing my 996TT and has decided to pick up a p-car of his own. He has better taste than me, however, so he wants a 964 targa. He also has a bum left knee, so he needs a tip.
After doing a bit of searching and some back of the envelope math, as far as I can figure, there were only about 250 or so of these imported to US shores. I've managed to track down 4 examples so far.

Anyone have any leads on a nice example?

Also, I've familiarized myself with the PPI list for 964s in general, but is there anything in particular I should look for that are indigenous to the tip trans or the targa top?

No real problems with the TIP transmission. They seldom break.

i have a '91 targa tip, the targa skin and seals needed to be replaced other then thats its been great
