well, had a shoot last night; turned out well. Going to be my first print magazine image; I'm stoked. i'm not sure which one is going to be used, but there's 175 to choose from. Here's one with a few basic edits.
nothing p-car related, as we have company for the weekend with friends. Going to do a shoot for the 16yr old girl again. We did one last year and she loved it; shot on the beach at sunrise.
(Consumer Reports: "Shopping for the Best Escort Service")
(Cosmo: "Sex Toys from the Grocery Mart: How Full Is Your Cart?")
(Esquire: "10 Hints That Your Girl Friend Wants to Move In."
(Vanity Fair, or Rolling Stone: "Jack Nicholson Reveals His Favorite Hotels' Room Services.")
Tomorrow, a local (Tides) minor league ball game with the gf.
Sometime this weekend, intro her to driving the 964.
Mow. Bleed brakes.
Other stuff, too.

No P-car activities this weekend. Saturday, my girlfriend and I are going to a blues festival. Sunday we will be finishing repainting her daughter's bedroom.
I see.. No worries. I just get a bit tense when I post my work and someone makes a comment that doens't seem to go one way or the other- is it bad, or is it good....
I cannot stop looking at Hawk’s model. I am not sure if she is SFW, but certainly intriguing which is what is important.
No real plan for the weekend. I meant to take the Pcar and get the AC looked at, but got busy at work and forgot to make an appointment. So I guess I will just drive around loving life.
I have to get the garden in order. The corn is fabulous and the pumpkins are just starting. Nom nom nom.

I'm glad it provokes thought; that's what images should do. that shot was done with just the natural tungsten bulbs in the overhead fixtures, shot at iso 800, f2.8 and 1/60 for shutter speed- for those camera folk here. There's more, but the shoot was for a customer and I'm not sure what's going to be printed. This one was not a selection from them, but a fave of mine. I'll add a bit more processing to it.
Now- she's moving to San Diego for grad school so she's not going to be around to shoot with the P-car. (there- she's related to the P-car discussion)
Lonnie- nice magazine article titles- made me laugh

I like it for a few reasons. One the lighting is very gritty and almost spooky. Two it is awkward, girl in a hotel cart, frazzled hair, with a beaded necklace, and her ***** out. The photo is telling a story, but there are so many elements. The viewer has to figure how to assemble the elements into a story. Yet even with all of the elements it is still very much about her because she is looking directly in the camera. Plus all of the lines of the molding point directly toward her face, the end of the hall way and doors box her head in, and the light above her draws the viewer in.
The two things I do not like. Red finger nail polish upsets an otherwise perfect color scheme. Her feet/bottom of her shoes are too prominent in the photo. They offer nothing to the shot and are RIGHT there in your face.
Overall 9/10, one of your best posed shots yet, your candid cannot be touched. I like it a smidgen better cropped (unfortunately it does remove some of the cart element) to move her feet to the bottom 1/4, but I am a confessed over cropper. 0.02
Thanks Blue- the image is not cropped, mainly because I wasn't sure if it was going to be used in print, and if so, what the dimensions were. Just a few preset actions on this, and then posted for your enjoyment.
