As per the PET and Pelican's list, I bought 6 wire clips to replace the broken ones on my lower valve covers. However, just the lower left cover required 6. I still have the remnants of what looks like 4 clips on the lower right cover.

Does anyone know how many of these there are in total? And if the lower right valve cover uses the same ones? It's hard to tell from the PET.

Don't know the answer, but I'm tuned it to find out. They just got added to my Pelican "Project List."

I read the PET and bought what was specified and ended up short. I managed to make careful use of what I bought, and reuse a couple and ended up just fine.

I'd say there are something like four more per side (top and bottom), but I'd have to go look at my car to be sure.

You should be able to just count the broken bits, or screw holes.

I count 8 -- but, heck, they're so darned inexpensive, buy a baker's dozen!

FWIW, when I did my valve job I found the previous 'expert' had mixed left for right valve covers.
(Let's just say the clipping of wires as I found it was both sporadic and... imaginative.)
All's right, now.
