When you find it, bring it by so I can check it out. I think one RSA exist that was Maritime blue, I have never heard of a single or much less seen a photo of a turbo in that color in north America. That color was found with some degree of regularity in Europe.

That reminds me, a buddy of mine in Salem did see a maritime blue C2 with temp plates in Salem, although it had tan interior. A C2 targa does run around town here in Portland in maritime blue.

That's Shaemus I believe. He's on here pretty regular lately. I'd kill for a Maritime C2.

Hi Jeff,

That C2 w/temp plates was me - is the buddy you refer to Joe? The car was covered in this thread started by him. https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...in-oregon.html

I know I'd be interested to know how many are around in the color. I'd love to know how may C2's came over.

Good luck with your search, you'll find what you want and it will be worth it. Just be ready to jump quickly should one turn up.

Yeah, I cannot believe I missed the car Shamus bought...right in my backyard too. Oh well, sounds like it went to a good home. As a consolation prize, I would like to see it one day (please). Same goes for Joe's cars, which I have heard about from Steve Weiner and Jeff Gamroth. One day....

You bet - Should be heading up north sometime this weekend - I'll pm you if I do. I need to grab some time to meet up with Joe too - pics of both cars would be excellent!

Go really rare and bid on the mint green '94 speedster w/a tip that I think Mecum has for sale at Monterey....I did see a 91 turbo in that mint and it was awesome. Prefer the MB tho...just almost impossible to find.

I don't know of any for sale but that's a damn fine choice.
