Default Sparkplug change - Antisieze or not ?

I've searched the archive and see some conflicting reports.

Adrians 964 companion DYI manual doesn't address this either.

Can someone advise.

Thanks,

Ken

The Shop Manuals, Vol 1, pg 03-11, indicates: "Do not use any lubricant on the plug thread".

I've always chosen "not". You should be in there regularly, so they should break loose easily, and grease makes setting torque difficult and overtighening too easy.

Thanks guys,

Its a low mileage car and I've just done the first valve adjustment, (only found 2 slightly out of spec) and plug change in 5 years.

Best regards,

Ken
