Default Headlight trim rings question

Why do some cars like my 91 with a H4 upgrade have only one 'ring fastening screw/bolt' and some cars have a 'ring fastening screw/bolt' on the bottom of the ring and top??

Is it model year?
Is it the H4 upgrade rings that delete the top bolt?

Thanks

It may be the brand of H4. I know the Bosch H4 kit has, for its decorative trim ring, only 1 screw attaching it to the actual light housing, at the bottom.

Is that the only reason?? Who made the kit..
Did any porsche's come from the factory (964's) with only one trim screw?

Thanks for the reply

Looks like some H4 trim rings only have one screw.

Cars in Europe came with the Bosch H4s standard, I believe. The US cars got the terrible H5s. The decorative ring, that covers the H4 assembly, has only 1 screw at the bottom.
