Could we also include wheel polish preferences in the discussion?

I also use Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze. Not an overly aggressive polish but very effective at removing road debris, track rubber, etc. while leaving the paint squeaky clean.

I second the Meguiars line- usually a polish step or two, then NXT to finish it.

Indy and Joey- no pics please!!!

Auto Glymms Aquawax is great for a quick application when the car is still wet after washing and can be used
on rubber , glass etc as well.

Yeah, but I'm trying to land a jumbo...

I'm a Zaino guy. Not necessarily a Zaino Zealot, but I've been using their system for 6-7 years now and I like the results I get. I also like it because once you do it the first time around, it's easy to maintain. I've heard it said that Zaino has a "candied" look vs. the "wet" look of waxes. There's a lot of top-notch stuff out there, it's all about what you prefer (like motor oil ).

Another note: Zaino used to recommend 3M Perfect-It swirl mark remover after claying. I've used a lot of similar products and I keep coming back to the 3M, it's really good stuff.
