I have done a bit of price research, it seems the Magnecor 8.5 can be had for quiet a bit cheaper than the Beru; $443 compared to $599. The Magnecor add states that you can not install the lower heat shields, do anyone know the reason why. ?

I believe Magnecor sell the lead sets for racing applications and, as such, they do not provide the grommets necessary for the leads to pass through the lower heat shields. Hence the recommendation.
Thanks Dave.
I thought maybe the plug connectors extended out too far, not allowing the heat shield to be mounted in its proper location. If it is only the grommets where the wires pass through the engine tin, that should be a fairly easy fix.
