Default Rec/Dryer Advice

Our friends over at Pelican have two AC receiver/dryers listed for the 91 964. One is an OEM replacement for $90 and the other is from Four Seasons for $14. Does anyone have experience or advice on one over the other?

If I remember correctly, the four seasons one is because it's actually the same part as used by a Honda civic.

I ordered one from them many years ago - I had one minor problem in that the label on the receiver dryer appeared to indicate it should be fitted the wrong way around. But eventually I confirmed that the label was wrong.

I can't comment on how well it worked, since I had other problems with my air con. But I'd probably buy a four seasons one again - it just doesn't have the Porsche mark up......

Thanks Dave... I suspect there has to be something really outstanding to justify the cost of the OEM unit.
Since I'm one of the unemployed Americans out there, for $14 I'm going to order it and see what I get.
Thanks again,
Gary

you might be able to get it for less at Autozone or someplace like that.
