Default Oil leak - Help needed

OK here we go, I bought a 964 Cab 1990 last October the car is in mint shape last owner had spent close to 20K in the last two years and part of that came from an engine rebuilt that was done back in March 2007. Since this engine rebuilt the car as barely seen 6000KM and now I have an oil leak that shows up on the valve cover on the passenger side.

I brought the car back where the egnine rebuilt was done (2hours drive to get there) and they replaced the cover gasket but unfortunately that did not solve the problem.

I've attached some pictures and hopefully someone will be able to help.

Thanks

Dan.

Looks like it could be from the paint peeling or warped. I changed my magnesium ones out for billet.

Had issues with mine leaking about 10k miles after rebuild and the valve cover nuts just needed to be retourqued. Leak went away.

Smallest picture shows what looks like oil on what I think is the lower edge/corner of the timing chain cover so perhaps the leak is from one of those gaskets, not the valve cover gasket.

I'm in the same boat, most likely the peeling or warped valve cover. I changed the seal and re-torqued, it's not bad if I'm on level ground, if I'm parked in an angle, I get a quarter size leak on both sides cover. On the to-do list to change eventually.
