Question Ventilation servo - part # needed.

Hi,
I noticed the other day that I suddenly got nothing but cold air from the left vents and from the footwell.
I hooked up my scantool and it returned trouble code "31 - left mixing flap motor".
I wish to order new servos for both the left and the right side and I haven't been able to find the part# in PET och in the workshop manuals...

IIRC there are five servos, are they identical (same part #) ?

Any help appreciated,

EDIT. I found the part # through Pelican Parts...

left side 964.624.903.00
center 964.624.324.00
right side 964.624.901.00

The mixing flap motors are easy to replace. (Edit - the servos are not identical).

964-626-902-00 Mixing flap servo - right
964-626-903-00 Mixing flap servo - left

Instructions - http://porsche964.co.uk/technical/servos.htm

Good luck with the repair.

Thumbs up

Thanks Rob!
I found the partnumbers and I have printed out the instructions you posted.
Now I'm just waiting for the parts to arrive....

Glad to help. Let me know if you need any help. I've had to replace both mixing flap servos. It looks more difficult than it really is. The challenge is you are having to remove torx screws behind the servos in the blind. You can feel them with your fingers but you can't see them. And also, be careful not to drop the screws, they will fall into the abyss (under the gas tank/HVAC plenum). I've been lucky so far (knock on wood) but I have some spare screws on hand just in case.

Dont'worry; It's a bit easier than RRob seems to experienced;
Get a portable light and a small mirror that you place just over the servo. Get also a magnet (line it with a piece of string) and you can do it in less than 2 minutes each!!
