Anyone have any pictures of this combination?
Can't quite decide which way to go with my car, which used to be linen but is now all black. I am changing the seats and the RS door cards, so have to decide soon.

Here you go. My car is all linen, and I am considering getting a black carpet for it as per these images. Perhaps even black door pockets and handles... Linen is sooo hard to keep clean.

In theory I don't like the combo..its like wearing creme trousers with black socks. However, I have to admit that those pictures go a long way to changing my mind (black piping on the seats helps as well I think).
I'd still opt to take the car back to a 'new' stock interior though.

Hmm. Thanks, guys - very useful.
Howard. I agree - it shouldn't look good, but it sort of does.
I do miss the light interior, and brand new linen carpets do look the absolute business, but last time I had them redone, I was doubting the wisdom of it just a few months later.
Perhaps I'll go with the linen panels and the black carpet for a while and see how it grabs me - I can always change the carpet later.
Again, thanks for the pics - more welcome.

Yeah, I'm still not sure either. My linen carpet looks pretty dirty, but I am going to try and steam-clean it before I replace it. Hopefully that will give me another couple years to decide.
I did replace my shifter and handbrake lever though, and went with black. Using linen here just seemed to be a waste of money, as it's only a matter of time before it discolors again. Just my opinion. If you like, I can take photos of that tonight...
Has anyone steam-cleaned their carpets? Anything I should know?
RG.

Not a 964, but my old 1990 944 Turbo. It had linen carpets, but enough black elsewhere to have a nice, balanced look. I would have put black carpets in at some point, if I had kept it. I say black/linen. Too much Linen is...well, too much. I will be putting black carpets in my 964 when I can, to balance the red.

I'm watching this thread with interest John ![popcorn](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/popcorn.gif)
After fitting the black Recaro PPs to mine, I got thinking about adding some more black to break up my all burgundy interior. Those pictures of the black carpet on the door pockets have already given me some ideas

Black and linen are a great combination, and I have a black/vanilla in my Audi.
