Default Rust! Wait till more appears or fix it now?

Just noticed very small bubbles appearing near the bottom of the windscreen in the centre.

Should I hang on a while and see if any more appears on other parts of the car and get it all done together or repair this before it gets any worse?

It's taken 20 years for these bubbles to show. Seems prudent to treat these (now) as the rare occurrences they've proven to be, than waiting for their next cousins to show up on the scene elsewhere.

Good luck with this decision.

A common issue with 964s , that needs properly treating with the windscreen out.
Best time is when you need a new windscreen but dont leave too long as it can be worse than
appears.

Agreed. Once you get the windshield out, it is prudent to treat the area whilst it is out. I also agree that the bubbles are the tip of the iceberg, and you will find more problems behind the rubber seal.

Thanks for the advice guys.

How does one look for more rust other than lifting the car and looking under it?

I know the 964 has some areas that are weak spots for rust, but while I'm at it I may as well go the full hog and get all the areas done at once.
