Default Heating & Vent'n CCU

Hi, does anyone have a non-A/C heating & ventilation CCU (the main dashboard controller) for sale. Please advise on price and shipping. Must be in full working order.
OR, does anyone know where to get mine repaired. I read a listing recently of someone getting theirs repaired in Italy, but my Independent garage said that this person was one of their clients, and that the repair proved to be unsuccesful.
My CCU will not control the nearside (on a RHD car) temperature mixing servo motor. I know the motor is OK, the servo will move from open to close when the CCU temperature dial is rotated from hot to cold (and vice-versa) when the engine is cold, but will not modulate down from fully open (hot) when the engine temperature is hot. The chamber temperature sensor has also been changed for a known good one. The heating and ventilation works perfectly on my car when my CCU is replaced with a working CCU - so that proves that it is my CCU that is faulty.
Here's hoping. Regards, Les.

Loren offers a service that can rebuild your CCU. My "new" 964's CCU was bad and he rebuilt it. I'm not affiliated, just a happy customer.

Rob; have contacted Loren at System AC and he has quoted $750 (750 dollars) to repair, which at the moment (with the dollar/pound exchange rate) is a bit too steep for me.Do any of you other Rennlisters have a working one for sale please.Regards, Les.

These come up fairly regularly on ebay for anywhere from $250-$500 US.

Are you sure Loren was quoting a new unit? That's a lot of money for a repair job.

Les, give PH sportscars a call. They're one of the lesser known Porsche breakers. Friends have been very pleased with their service.

Just sold a brand new non-AC one on eBay to a guy in Italy for $400. Wish I would have known sooner. All I have left is a used A/C one that I will be selling soon...

I hadn't noticed that you were looking for a non-AC unit . . . didn't release there was one of these, but obviously there must be; hope you find one. Have you tried the breaker yards?
