Default Air Conditioning Gauge Connection

'89 C4; Where do I connect the test gauges to the air conditioning system? Streather is not clear on this. Am I correct in assuming that test gauges should be connected at the schrader valves located at the compressor at the low and high sides?

Thanks,

Tim

They're both on the compressor - low side is the fitting pointing aft, and the high side fitting is around on the right side pointing to the right.

That guage set has R12 fittings on the hoses with the two 134A adapters on the side. That's what you need , depending on what refrigerant you have.
