Default 964 c4-no w/screen wash washer/wiper wiring

Hi guys,
I am after a wiring diagram for an '90 964 C4, specifically for the washer/wiper system with intensive cleaning.

The system had been working perfectly up until 2 weeks ago. Fuse 24 is good, wiring has been all checked, there is pwr out of the column switch, the motors both work and the wipers work faultlessly, but there seems to be an anomily with the relays. Somehow pwr does not seem to be coming out of central electrics.Relay 42 which is the wiper intermittent relay also seems oK. relay 53, which is suppossed to be the light dimming relay has noyhing to do with the lights-that is I remove it and all light funtions work correctly.

I need to trace the wiring to see which relay is specifically used and how all the wiring ties in with the intensive cleaning. I think that the wiring has changed from the first 964's through the different model years. Mine therefore should be one of the earliest wiring setups.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Many thanks,
Lou.

Check the earth connection on the washer motor pump - that just went on mine and was picked up on the service. Simple initial check!

relay 53 is for additional cleaning fluid pump in your car.

pull relay 53

check with voltmeter before you jump anything. turn key to on.

pin 3 is power from fuse 24, check for 12 volts

pin 5 is power out to additional pump. jump 3 to 5 and see if pump works

pin 7 is power out to regular pump. jump 3 to 7 and see if pump works

pin 1 is power from fuse 24 through intensive cleaning press button. Push the button and you should get 12 volts at pin 1

pin 2 is power all the time, check for 12 volts

6 is power out to relay 42 pin 2

Thx guys, all sorted. First of all, the wrong relay was installed at R53. The correct one is installed now and the intensive cleaning now works. The second issue is I was checking the wrong motor on the main washer bottle. So, I have changesd the windscreen washer motor and all is good. Thanks for all your input.
