Default I'm alive... although in Chicago... need Brad Penn

Long time no post! After about a 9 month hiatus from the discussion board I thought I would stick my head in and say howdy. In the past 9 months I have:

- watched my baby girl turn into a toddler
- quit a job in Richmond to join a firm in Chicago
- sold my house in VA in the crappiest market ever
- found a rental house in Park Ridge IL
- moved my mother in law to IL to live with us
- had a large company acquire the small firm I just joined in Chicago (I didn't even have equity yet... jerks)
- kept my job (not sure how)
- started taking the train to work instead of driving my 964
- and tomorrow I move office buildings downtown

So basically I've been bored and just screwing around for the last 9 months.

So with that very long prologue, where can I buy Brad Penn in the Chicago area? Any recommendations on a local shop?

Hey JD, we should meet up. In terms of where to buy Brad Penn? I know of a shop in Lake Geneva, WI that sells it for a decent price. If your interested let me know and I can put you in touch with the owner. Otherwise www.midwesteurosport.com is a great air cooled Porsche shop.

Buy it from Charles Navarro at LN Engineering. Best price and he is in Momence, IL, near Kankakee, just south of Chicago.

I've read Navarro's exhaustive write ups about oil but I had no idea he was in IL. For some reason I thought he was in Cali. I was just down by Momence on Monday. Next time I am through there I will stop in and load up on oil. Thanks for pointing out where he is.

Glad to meet another Chicago P-Car owner! Are there monthly Chicago area gatherings? I really do need to change my PCA registration so I can get word of such things. If there aren't any organized gatherings, we should at least have lunch if you work downtown.

The PCA Chicago group is very active, trackdays, get togethers, you should look them up. They have a pretty solid website I can't remember it off the top my head, but its pca-chicago? Otherwise, there are some Rennlist guys in the area that are a great group to meet up with. I am always interested in meeting up and seeing your car. I will PM you.
