A LARGE breaker bar pipe is your friend. Mine is 3 feet long and heavy 1" pipe

Yeah, but I start getting nervous when I'm seeing the whole car shift on the jacks from the effort.

+1 on both comments . . . 3' long cheater bar . . . and getting nervous watching the car move. In the end, it broke free; after some bouncing on the bar.

Oh, and do not wrap your hand around the cheater bar!! Stand on it. Mine hit the ground rather hard and fast.

The real b*tch is the right hand side. That one you have to lift up and into the bumper; at least that's how I did it. Fortunately that one came free much more easily for me.

For the right hand side - if you're not on a lift - you can lower the car onto the bar, the end of which is sitting on a jack stand - CAREFULLY - and pop it loose that way. Worked for me perfectly.

On the right side, I used a jack and jacked up on the breaker bar - worked perfectly. On the left side, never could get good leverage. Finally ended up striping the hex bolt on the left side and had to have it drilled out and $400 dollars later.
