Hey guys,
I did a quick photoshop to see how I like the 3 piece look on my car. I love the 3 piece turbo twists, but they are really pricey. I am considering buying a 2nd set of wheels, what are your opinions on these??? Also considering white face as an option.

honest opinion? a bit to "sharp" for a curvy car... a bit to modern.

But what do i know, my choice of wheels is very specialist.

Hahaha, I can see your point on that, I like them a lot---it is different than anyones I have ever seen on a 964, but still sorta classic like the 3 piece ruf's.

And I like your choice of wheels

Given that you've spent a lot of time and effort to tastefully give your car a more "modern" look, I think the wheels are a good choice. It suits the very aggressive lowering on your car. Obviously not to everyone's taste and would look out of place on a more stock looking car.

Possibly white centres on them?? (Ahh, I see you've already done that in the second photo... that's what I would go for...)

I prefer the turbo twists you have now vs the p-copped ones. The p-chop are nice, but I personally like a bit more spokes or thicker spokes.

Wheels with white centers look gorgeous but I'd leave alone the rear reflector.

I do like my twists, but these set the car apart

It does set the car apart more towards the "modern" look. I like those wheels on your car, but I prefer C2 Turbos on the 964. Good luck with your decision!

Aero mirrors will help in the 'modernizing' process. If you do go to a different set of shoes, white is the way to go. White centres, white centre cap, and white lug nuts to go with the polished lip.

Thanks guys aeros will come soon, along with 993 door handles, molding the bodly lines on the side/front lip, and repaint

Are there any decent priced replica 3 piece turbo twists, replica rufs, or replica speedlines?

i think the wheels look great, they compliment the lowered styling lines of your car. I prefer the chrome to the white personally but think both would look good.

There are 3 piece turbo twists made by FRH/Hartmann, but you will need to be patient for a set to come up. dp951 on Pelican has a set of 17s for sale but they are a 911 offset. I do believe you can order custom halves from Kodiak Racing to fit your car.

Are those 18s or 19s?
The top fotos look like 19s and a little too big...

If 18s, the white looks better than most painted wheel apps I've seen. Painted wheels have a very "80s" look to me and now seem to be a dated look. Those with the smaller spokes pull it off...

My all time favorite are the Speedlines, but I think those wheels look pretty cool.

One thing to note - the smaller spokes will allow the hubs and brakes to be much more visible. That area tends to collect a lot of road grit and brake dust not to mention rust on the disks. A see through top only look as good as what's underneath...
You may find yourself doing a lot of extra cleaning in there with those wheels...
