Refer post above about Adrian Streather's book. Tells you everything there is to know, including everything to look for in pre-purchase.

I love my 89 964 C2, I always compare it with an F104 Starfighter and a Piper Cub... Both planes, but flying a 104 is not a simple stick and rudder experience ! And so is a 964....but once you master the beast...its sheer heaven !
And being a bit handy with the spanner helps !
