Default Funky Friday

so what's on tap for the weekend? Any big plans for the car or you? We've got breakfast with the bunny tomorrow for my 2.5 yr old. I still have to get to the wheels and door panels before spring gets here.

Our PCA club is going to the Trinity site, near Alamogordo and White Sands, where, two days a year, they open the actual ground-zero site to civilians and give a tour. I hope I don't come back glowing green.

Flywheel should be here today, so the motor will be going back in this weekend. Cross you fingers for no leaks. Front suspension is all on, but I can't tell if I am going to have abs sensor issues till I can run it, so that may get interesting. New tires should be here today, and cup 1's will be going to the powdercoater next week. So hopefully everything gets together for my event later this month.

Normally, I'd have planned (again) to paint the rotor hats silver.
But, instead, will be meeting the girlfriend's parents. Her dad has plans to tour the Harley factory.
(Thank God the man's a motorhead.)

I have a date this weekend with the valves and the new angle based adjustment tool.

I'm going to be enjoying the country life this weekend. A hike in the mountain followed by some hammock time outside, fondue in front of the fireplace, sleeping late, etc.

The only things on the agenda are replacing the rear rotors on my Audi (that heavy station wagon eats them like crazy!) and removing my airbag light with the scan tool. The Porsche is most likely getting a bath and a mountain drive, in reverse order.

I am heading home at 11:30 then starting to put the car back together after i change the plugs and dist cap and rotor. I am taking the fan surround over to Freds964 in the morning so we can powder coat it then I will put the altenator and fan back together. Hopefully all gets done this weekend because I am tired of seeing it on the lift in my garage. My next project is to see if I can get to the wires on the oil pressure sender on the TT so I can get that reading right again. i am hoping its just lose from the altenator fix by the dealer a couple months ago and not the sender its self.

The wheels are coming off this weekend for a brake inspection. I secretly hope it needs rotors too. I need to buy a lug wrench. This car is quite enjoyable to work on thus far.

A lot of random things planned for the weekend; build a new plant bed in the garden, marathon training run, attends friend’s barbeque, and a sporty drive.

I need to get my wife to sit still long enough for me to take some pix. I am hoping the weather gets nice soon, as I have some shots planned of her and the car...(hawk)

Nothing P-car related. I spent the last 2 weeks getting frantically ready for the first DE of the season. Got the roll bar in, seats and harnesses. Also redid the rear axles.

So, I washed it yesterday, and will let it rest in the garage for the weekend. Good car!

Because hawk didn't supply us any this am? Tie her up first then she wont move around so much...

Took my car to the shop yesterday. Had the air-bag lights switched-off. Damn things are already back on! Apparently the code is showing the right hand sensor. I already cleaned it and am now wondering whether to have another shot at that or to try something else...

Spending some family time this weekend, possibly going for a drive along the coast and finding somewhere special for lunch.

I picked up my 964 coupe from the P-car dealer. It has a fresh alignment. I took it to work today and am planning a couple sporty drives in the country this weekend.

Ae you saying you want to fly me and my gear out there to take pics of your wife? Don't worry- my wife isn't posing for me either, lately. she had the perfect outfit on last night, too.

or are you asking for another installment of Hawk's vision? damned models are flakey too. I'm trying to find someone to shoot Sunday with not a lot of luck

I'm guessing the latter:
