Default Spoiler Adjustment

Hi All,
I have just fitted a new original eqpt. spoiler to the rear of my 964 (the original supplied with the car has a Techart "pram handle" fitted to it which I will keep as an option).

The colour match is great but the spoiler is sitting proud on the LHS when compared to the decklid. I have bought some of the shims that are used to space the actuating mechanism out from the deck lid and am going to fit them tomorrow.

I had hoped to avoid removing the spoiler but this looks to be impossible as the mechanism has to be dropped clear of the decklid hinge mounting plates to get the shims in.

Anyone done this before? Any tips or things to watch out for?

Many thanks,
Kevin.

No help, I'm afraid Kevin - but we're at Porsche Chester from 11.00 for a couple of hours tomorrow to get the GT3 inspected. Do drop over if you have the time.
