I've had the heat exchangers off and am replacing the 6 crush seals. We just got new ones from Pelican - they're different than the ones we took out. They're flat on one side with the other side being slightly rounded. My question is which side should be oriented next to the heat exchanger.

i'd say the rounded side, i believe the heat exchanger side is slightly cone shaped, whereas the head side is flat.

But please wait for a second opinion.
