Default Looking for Speedster tonneau cover

Does anyone know where you can find a after market fiberglass tonneau cover that will fit the 964. Want to modify the cab and do away with the fix cab roof - Any leads greatly appreciated -

Are you also planning on changing the windshield? Was it you that want it to take the speedster look route with your car??

And I am with John... create a thread for this project with lots of photos please.

I have inquired on this toneau, you def have to completely do away with the top for it, which scares me because I need a top, considering it rains here at 2pm everyday most of the year lol, I wonder how much it would cost to completely change everything though?

John -and Jaime - I like or love the look also - so figured I would go after the look - Do not plan on changing the windshield as it is just too much trouble. I want to keep my roof as well, but am going to modify it either be removable (store in the boot) or to fold into the rear seat area. I will loose a lot of the rigid roof structure as it will have to be remove - to get the roof to collapse to the point where it will fit where I want it to. But I think I can use some clip in tubing or similar fabricated parts -
The project will not begin until later (first of summer) as I have a lot of other projects ahead of this one, mainly installing the varioram and a a suspension rebuild.
But once I start I will do the pic and write-up -
Thanks for your interest and help

Look at the link of the speedster for sale thread... it shows the setup Porsche did to get both to work. Might provide some help on the project.

Jaime - That is the first thing I saw this morning in my Renn email - have enlarged and printed the pictures to get the details -
Thanks for the alert and notice - Greatly Appreciate your assistance -
These pics are worth a lot as I have never sen the inside set up or how the top on a Speedster folded into the rear area. Looks like a challenge to change the current framework - but believe it can be done -
Can you figure out how the rear of the top is attached to the car - looks like it slides under the tonneau and clips on the back side - as in has to go over the back side of the tonneau and fasten on to the tonneau or body in some manner - You can see the clips on each side, but the rear must fit under -
Thanks

Would be great if someone here with access to a Speedster could take photos of the top in action... and close-ups of the mechanism...

Yes- that would be fantastic - because in looking at the renn tonneau it appears to not come with any mounting hardware and I will have to fabricate most of that - does not look like I will have to make a watch - but getting the measurement sure would be great - and a detail of the roof operation would sure help -
