"I haven't called the Austrian dealership to figure out the history because I am not that interested." - Seller is really motivated then

it's a nice car, even if it was done after the fact. I love the slantnose looks.

Something about the owner’s genuine indifference to the car is off putting. The photos are bad and the engine looks filthy. For $25.5K you would think he could spend more than 2 minute and take decent pictures. If that representative of his attention to detail, I would run from that car.

Well taken. My purpose was for value to marketplace. I look to see pricing and availabilty in different markets.

Louverless front fenders? Made for some, uh, interesting moments for a couple of the first owners of slope conversions back in '83 when a couple of guys I knew out of Phoenix got some gray market cars imported that were straight from Werks I. One of them immediately sold his after a single top speed run............ Of course he had them do an '84 with the louvers right away.

Usually, the smooth fenders are just fiberglass. vs. steel..
...mine aren't, but after rocks etc. kept flying out I went with that style.

What's the skinny on fender louver's aero-use. [<---- completely ignorant of their aero need]
Jump ball -- anyone can take this one...

Reduce drag, added downward force from the release air turbulance in the front wells, cooler brakes and finally cooler lager in the trunk.
