Default Spacer advice

Me again!
Before geo I want to get the track width looking right, I have put a steel rule at 12 and 3 oclock on the tyre face this gives a gap between inner arch lip at top of 12mm rear and outside lip at front!!!!...
What is widest I should go to close the 12mm gap at back....the front lowness is not set yet, but again any advice...

I have 55 offset original turbo cup 1 9" and 7".....were C2 cups different offsets?

Seems like I may only be able to fit 10mm at rear, dont seem to be any available with studs, guess that means I will have to fit 10mm longer studs, at £5 a go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Advice please........

How can you get 18mm in????
I have mocked up with 12mm washers, and that looks tight, but mine are 9" rear.

Strega...good posting time....(I'm sad)

I run 7 & 9" Cup IIs with 15mm spacer on the rear...puts the rear wheels right out to the fender...

There's no immediate answer to that because there are a number of different wheels. The 993 versions were 7J or 8J on the front with ET55 and 9J on the rear with either ET70 or ET55 depending on what model they were fitted to. There may be other variations too for 968 etc. It's meaningless to talk about any wheel without having the full details of diameter, width AND offset.

You can cope with slightly wider spacers on the rear by dialling in a little more negative camber to tilt the top of the wheel inwards a little more.

Regards

Dave

No, just 15mm rears.

I am running 7x17 ET55s up front with 225x45x17 tires...with the car basically at RS ride height, the front fenders are close enough...
