Default Recommendation needed for OEM part supplier

Need to order a pretty expensive part (~$1500 USD) for my 1990 964.

Can someone recommend a US dealer who has excellent prices?

Feel free to email me directly at jpinsly@comcast.net

Thanks,

Jeremy

I've had good luck with

Sunset Imports 503.641.8600 or 800.346.0182
bobmccarthy@sunsetimports.com

They do 15% over dealer cost.

Jeremy, seen this on ebay the guy has 3 of them this is the best one he has and is of coasrse priced the highest, see ebay item 290298772092 the seller is rothsport, name sounds familiar. he also has a phone number that you can call to speak to them directly. ask him if you buy it and its not up to you liking can you return for refund minus shipping. just a tip if your interested.

Custom leather dash is what I will go for someday .
I don't care for the plastic dash pad at all .

+964 on sunset. I've been really happy with them.

Also,
I don't know if this would solve your problem, even if it doesn't, it still looks like they're a slight modification to be made to the placement of the defroster vent:

Let us know how it turns out.

At the cost of a new dash I just look the other way and try not to think about the hump.... wish I could afford a new leather covered dash...

Let us know how it goes. With all that you have done to the car, that beautiful leather interior you had done, I can understand....

Default Update!!!

Well, Sunset had the best price by far....BUT....

I talked to Earl at Rothsport, and I have a like-new one coming my way for a LOT less than a new one. Dutch, THANKS for reference to the Ebay info....

Jaime, you've seen the interior....it's the little things that annoy you....this will make the interior perfect for me. I had a new front window installed about 2 months ago, so the car looks clean, Clean, CLEAN!

I'll probably put my old dash cover up for sale here, so if anyone is interested in it, let me know.

The waiting for the UPS truck now begins.....

We all need to get together again when you get it fixed. Maybe a road trip to Daytona or something for a get together this spring or summer.
