Bodyshop repair costs

quick and easy one for you in the uk

just reversed into a post, cracked the rear bumper, size of a 50p piece, looks more of a mess because of the split paintwork

any idea on repair costs?

(does the aluminum 'trans bumper' piece bend under such circumstances? if hit between bumper shocks? ie, Only plastic pieces need repair?)

If it can be done on the car, and that is good enough for you. Plastic weld, prep and paint. $200

i've had a look in the daylight and it turns out the bumper is fine, just the paint that has split and flaked away.

full bumper respray at the very most

I was recently quoted 8 hrs labour + materials to remove and paint the whole rear bumper - came to £510 + VAT. I would be interested to hear how much you get it done for.
