"I am in the market for another C4 coupe. Prefer a 92+. 94 widebody would be great but may not be in my budget. The car will be a daily driver + DE. I might consider going to a 993, but not a 996. (DWS996 just doesn't sound right)."
Not a 996???
Apparently this 996 owner was good enough to hawl your tuckus to Cleveland. You got sum splanin' to du Lucy!

Darrell,
Sorry to hear about your accident, but happy to see you have found a suitable replacement.
I am beginning my search for a 964 C4, or C2 and was wondering if I could contact you privately as I've just recently returned to the great state of Indiana. If you don't mind my asking you some questions via the phone, please send me a contact number via e-mail john@coastwerks.com (is best.)
We need more photos of the black car :-)
Thanks,
John

'93 C4 78K Black/Black/Black Fabspeed cat bypass and primary bypass, cup airbox cover, Steve Wong chip, on-board computer, H&R Greens/Bilstein HD's, extra set of 16" Cup wheels w/ track tires, Recaro PP seat and harness (I need a companion set + harness so I can use in DE), harness bar, TechArt splitters, plus original rear spoiler, original window sticker, all stamps in the book and records for the past 8-9 years, all orig tools and compressor, even the bag for the flat tire....
Purchased from a Rennlister.
I drove it home, in the rain, with the help of the Best Neighbor in the World
- SneakyPete, on Sunday. It ran great. Sounds Great. 25mpg according to the OBC,
I will be ready for the April DE at the new Bluegrass track!
I will have it up on jackstands this weekend going all over it, flushing the brake fluid, etc. Probably giving it (a lot) more attention than my wife. It needs a good clay treatment and polish with the Griots kit to make the black really pop.
I am not sure if I am totally sold on the black wheels. I generally prefer the silver finish. I have a set of Cup 1 replicas that will go on for a test appearance. AND, the set of 16's with snows will go on next winter.
It seems to run rich on cold start. But I will hook it up to the Scantool and see what's up. That's a subject for another post, maybe.
