Default One last swaybar question

Did you c4 guys just change the rear swaybar for an RS one or did you change the front one as well?

I did front/rear, with HR Greens, on top of my Bilstein HDs.
The car runs like its on rails now.

Thanks Tom I was going to try just doing the rear but I feared doing both was the better option.

I bought both bars but didn't have the chance to change them both prior to an event, so I ran just the rear RS bar with the factory 030 front bar. IMHO the rear bar makes a bigger differnce than the rear, as I didn't notice much of an impact of the front bar afterwards. Setup was revalved bilstein sports with H&R reds (turbo) springs & monoballs (c2 tho, the front bar may help more on a c4). Great setup, you will likey...

Looks like 23mm from the pics. Can you find out what it would cost to ship internationally?

Thanks

I'll give this a try and if it doesn't work then I'll do the front... No harm in trying

I've got a 21mm one from a C2 sitting in the garage waiting to be installed at some point in the near future. Will be interesting to see what an effect it makes. Then just need to install the H&R greens that are sitting alongside it...

Bluey, that tahoe color is awesome! I have the greens on and cant wait to install RS front and 21mm SWAY Bar in rear. How close is this set up to a stock RSA?? Anyone have a rear 21 or 22mm for sale?

I changed the 17MM in my C4 for a 21MM in the rear to decrease understeer for better handling. If this is your goal, and you want to switch the front, it should be thinner. Different situation than a C2, where your more concerned with oversteer.

In the Bentley book, the smallest rear sway bar listed is 18mm and only in model year 1989. I read the wringing out articles and want to go to at least a 21mm rear sway bar. Any input about this combined with what is optimal for front by C4 gurus would be very helpfull. Also, what are stock RSA sway bar diameters?

The C2's came with a 21MM rear sway, so you can get one of these used. Make sure you get new 21MM bushings. I got mine from Oklahoma Foreign for $75.00. Haven't had the opportunity to test it on the track yet.
