Default Rear window defogger failure

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the failure of the rear window defogger on a '92 C2? I have checked the obvious - power supply, fuse and ground - but still have insufficient heat to evaporate condensation on 90% of the window. Some heat strips do work.

There is a relay and fuse in the engine bay fuse box. Have you checked that? Don't have access to mine at the moment to check which ones. If you have heated mirrors - are they working - same switch but different fuse

I think the window is damaged!
If sum of the heater element works then that suggests that the window is receiving power, so there must be a problem with the glass.
The heat strips are very fine metal strips fixed to the glass, any break in the strip will cause it to fail.
The heated rear window on a 64 is complex, 6 wires all doin the same job is daft and bound to lead to problems, its a faulty glass!
