Try an OPC. Probably find they are cheaper on small bits like that. Porsche Exeter is good and does'nt add extra for posting. 01392 822841. Chris is the man.

you're sure they aren't just hiding behind the airbox itself? They have a habit of doing that for me.

Bill, you might find the enjoyment just as plentiful if you cut the airbox like the cup replacements available aftermarket. My box looks very similar, without the price tag.

My car's last owner has an extra box he was going to do this to. He said to call him if I wanted to do this. Think I might call him today.

Can't hurt. Worse thing you did is waste 15 minutes or so to cut the box.

I am not trying to thread jack you, I am just curious----I bought my car with a K&N filter, however, I dont have an airbox around it anymore, its just the aluminum filter sorta like pictured here, is that good or bad?

I'm sorry, but **** like that shouldn't be allowed!
You can't leave it at, you have to show us the rest of the car.

I always wondered why 964 owners have not come up with something that mimics the 996/997 intake - grabbing air from outside the car and pushing it into a sealed plenum....would be a very noticeable bump in power as speed increases

I liked the green wheels better.......What happened to the side mirror? I think I might go for that duct tape test?
