Rock Guard Removal---Prepaint Help
Hey guys, I am taking a few parts to have painted on monday, 2 of which are the rock guards directly behind each door and in front of each rear wheel connected to the rocker panel (seen in black in the pictures below). I want to make sure I remove them properly so I dont crack/chip/or break any clips, so any info on the process would be appreciated. Thanks!

You will most likely break at least 1 or 2 clips (ask me how I know #1) so order a full set as they are cheap and dont forget to order new sill rubber as well. Take care with the shark fins at the rear. Thats a common area people break off the threaded posts requiring them to be epoxied back on (ask me how I know #2). Also a great time to check the oil and AC lines and cleanup under the rockers.
