Hi Lonnie, thanks for the compliments! Photography is a hobby of mine, so your kind words mean a great deal to me! I will be sure to post more in the future.
Regarding the 1976 Jensen Healey GT, that is my dads. He bought it new in Rochester, NY and now it has 34,000 original miles on the chassis and motor. It has 45 DCOE Weber Carbs on it as well. You pretty much summed it up with your description of the car, Lonnie. Thanks!
LouZ - I feel kind of stupid. I just looked at the front trunk lid and don't see any stickers. From what I understand, the Linen Metallic paint code is L M1U? I see a Zermatt Silver, paint code L Y7Y as well. Could that be the color?
Saweeeet Ca!!! I love your new toy. Congrats!!!! The early "light" wheels have grown on me. The early Lighteight C4's ran those in magnesium. Very nice. Congrats on your graduation too!!! Good Luck....
Thank you all very much! All of your comments are appreciated. I like the D90's as well, but I think Cup 1's are in this cars future.
I remember around 1998, my dad and I took a road trip in the C2 up to Carmel/Laguna Seca to see a race (Mercedes CLK-GTR, Porsche GT1, Marcos...). I couldn't drive back then, but I remember thinking how cool the car was. I think the car is even more appealing now than it was back then. It's nice to drive a car with such nostalgia and history. And yes, being able to talk to the previous owner whenever I want is a big plus!
