Default Oil smell

Once in a while when driving the car, and mostly under heavy acceleration, do I notice a sent of unburnt oil. Is this a normal thing or should I worry about it.
The engine has 60 000K on it and had the top end rebuild last year, 5000K ago.

BUMP. No one ever had that beautiful sensation of fresh oil smell in their cars?

Yes, its happened to me. In my case, one of the oil lines between the tank and the oil filter was seeping and dripping on the exhaust. Luckily, I had it replaced before any damage was done. If it were me, I would clean the bottom of the car and engine, take the car out for a spirited drive, then come back and look for shiny spots (fresh oil). Once you know the source of the oil, you can decide if you want to repair it or not.

Yep I get it. I'm told it's perfectly normal and was deliberately put there to remind us we are driving air cooled marvels
