ABS and PDAS lights is on
Suggests high pressure circuit problem - how did you bleed the bomb? Did you cycle the high pressure pump?

The two hydraulic systems don't share anything other than the reservoir supply
Actually, there is a pressure line to the master cylinder that provides boost; unlike the C2 which has a seperate boost circuit

Note the line from 5 to 7; bomb to master cylinder

Took off right front speed sensor
I suppose that you cleaned that sensor before you put it back in. Was it dirty? Could it be that the other three are now reporting different information compread to that right front one? Perhaps the ABS system is fighting with itself?

The two systems , the brakes and the clutch , share only the reservoir .

Speed sensor is a good hint. It wasn’t dirty, I just wiped it off, some lube, and back in. I’m afraid that I turned the wheel hub with out the sensor a couple off times, so it didn’t go in at the same position!! Could that really course a problem?

Poleman
Please pull the cable connector to the ABS computer .
Then take it for a drive and see if the funny brake "pedal has a wavy feel" feeling goes away .
Go very slow and be ready with the parking brake . Don't hit anything please .

Pulling the plug on the abs computer kills the abs system .
If the problem goes away , then we will look at the abs system .
If pulling the plug on the abs computer has no effect on the problem ,
we will then know the problem is not in the abs system .

Turning the hub with the sensor out should have zero effect on anything .

Wife that smells good vs broken car in the middle of a cold dark night ?
Good call !

Have you looked to see if the wires / connector on that sensor are all connected real good ?
Have you gone back and rechecked that ?

God morning……
After checking all the speed sensors, I made the test drive….still a wavy brake pedal. I still have both warning lamps on. Also the battery warning lamp is on. If there is low voltage, (car starts rapid) can this be the reason for the brake system to failure. Manual says that the blue wire or D+ from battery to alternator can be broken. Maybe something happened since it was a very snug fit when I reassembled the alternator in place. Is there any chanced to measure with out the breathtaking job off disable the hole alternator again?

If your alternator light is on, I would check your voltage at the battery, with the engine running and with it off. You should have 12 volts when off and between 13-14 volts when idling.

If the voltage is low when the engine if running, then you either have a failed alternator or a loose/broken wire in the charging circuit.

FINALY…..the car is responding. PADAS, ABS and alternator warning lamps are gone. My mistake was when I changed the alternator. In my garage I didn’t had enough light when I connected the wires, and mixed up the ground wire. Luckily nothing seems to have happened with any other components. Brake pedal feels good, but I can forget my test drive tonight…..When I was back home after a nice walk by the see (a must for the Wife), the lovely woodman had paid us a visit …….Not a chance I will move that to the wood storages now! Have to bribe the kids tomorrow!

Glad to hear that the car is working properly again. And good luck with moving the wood. It looks like a lot of work.

[chuckle]
classic picture.

Now that all else is fixed, it seems wood is your car's latest impediment.
