Blue, I bet you will have to do them too if thats your riding companion the pretty red head in my sig put the finishing touches on the seat bottom in my car

No question, I will spend that money on the carpet kit (less actually) and spend a week worth of evenings if I have to putting the new skins on. At this point I am still leaning toward 928leathershop.com...

Connolly was the British tannery from where the leather for Rolls Royce and the 928S4 (when introduced) came.
I actually bought 2 skins and recovered the seats myself, using the worn leather as template.

The only point of my post was that a scrupulous reproduction of the fastening method is very important, even if it seems to make no sense.

I think the company I remember was world upholstery. Not sure if they moved, or if I have my names mixed up. They are out of Cali, not Texas

I was pretty impressed with the samples, but that was 2 yrs ago. I just did a fun quote to see what new seat covers would cost--- $795 for two-tone with black piping.

Mike, here is another possible source to check out. I have not done business with them, but have looked into several times. They advertise in Panorama. Good luck and do keep us posted.

20 years of has done no favors to aging the leather. Unfortunately the canine codriver is not the problem with the seats. He is quite the good passenger. The sport seats are so freaking comfortable which is why I do not want to dump them.

Car ride time!
