does anyone know if I can use 993 wire set on 964 ?

I spent 4+ hours fitting a set of beru leads to my 964 this year. Its a fiddly job and the wires are of precise lengths. I'm not sure if 993 wires would fit or not, but i know you'll have made a lot of effort getting them on to find out the hard way. HTH

Check the DIYs on spark plug wire replacement. The poster hit a stopping point when he found out he had 993 wires and they did not fit.

I am in process on mine now. It is a huge amount of work, mostly because you stop along the way to clean everything, change belts, paint the fan, upgrade to the RS pulley system....

...replace the oil sender o-ring, replace broken/missing spark wire clips, dizzy caps & rotors, repaint encapsulation tins, replace oil tank connection hoseletts...

(i.e., we'd make terrible for-profit mechanix... )

I see, I ordered the right wire set for my 964 which was beru zef 571 from the dps motorsport but thet sent me the wrong set beru zef 601 Itry to contact by mail and the phone but nobady answered ,even to the phone . note: never buy a part from dps motorsport!!!!!!!

Not to make this a consumer rights and awareness thread but...

If you ordered the wires with a credit card you can call the CC company and ask them to stop payment on the purchase. They'll ask you to show them that you've mailed the product back which you'll have to do, then fax them a tracking number/proof. From there on it's not your problem anymore
