Roughly what would a wheel weigh?

Not sure if its of interest but thought I'd follow-up.

I weighed the fronts at 40lbs each and 50lbs each for the rears with tire and rim.

I shipped all 4 UPS using the palatte-wrap method described HERE.

UPS Ground final cost: $211. I spent $30 on the saran-wrap type stuff and $10 on two large rolls of heavy duty clear tape. So my original estimate of $250 couldn't have been more spot-on.

It took about an hour and a half to complete wrapping properly and was quite a chore. Next time would be a lot easier however.

Tom -- you weren't kidding! If bundled then they would be classed as an "oversized package" this meant the total cost going from $211 to $540 plus extra shipping materials needed!
