I want to buy a pair of factory only 9x17 CUP I wheels with the 55mm offset.

From my experience, 55mm offset will be mighty close to tub and you wont be able to run 275. You need to be around 45mm to 47mm offset.

Still looking, these are stock rear 964 turbo wheels 91-92 known as the CUP wheel.

the 9" wheels are the Repo ones from the tire rack - although they are as nice and a bit lighter than the factory wheels. there was no 9" factory wheel except the Magnesium RS ones i believe (i am not 100% on this fact so don't quote me)

the 9.5" wheel is a 68mm offset and is correct for the NB 964 w/a 20mm spacer. This was the wheel used on the 964 Turbo AND the US carrera cup cars. your 8" wheels move to the front and can fit a 235mm tire (same YMMV applies as below).

(your fit may vary i can only verify that a 275mm rear will fit w/ no rubbing IF you have rolled fender lips - although normally the clearance issues are on the inside of the wheel, YMMV, etc, they fit on my car)
