Default How do I get this out???

I don't see a place for radio removal tools to go and there is no trim piece to remove.

There may be "catches" on the sides, but it should just slide out.

Edit: My unit is aftermarket, not original. Kindly disregard my response.

The end-caps of the stereo fascia clip off (the two thin black plastic covers at the extreme left and right of the unit). Very carefully prise them off with a flat blade.

After you remove the caps you should see the holes where your head unit removal tools go.

How about tips or experience with removing that piece of the dash "center dash trim" (around CCU/radio/switches)? Pretty sure I can get the lower dash out and the CCU and radio. Would very much like to replace my damaged dash piece with a pristine one.

Thanks!

Sorry, no tips -- haven't been there. Exploded view, though, I can do.

Default removal

if concerned about scratching get some 2 inch duct tape/or something real sticky and cot a bout 5 inches long, use a credit car and apply the tap on the sides between the radio and sides of dash, and and rub it real good to make it stick , then pull rapidly, not like a monster and it will come off without marking anything.

It's a 90's tape deck don't worry about scratching it, just toss into the trash upon removal...Zero value !

IMHO

Does anyone know if the new Blaupunkts are just a drop in (straight swap with old one)? (cause they have the same connections in the frame?)
