not very clear to me... I see very little difference at front, plus 685 appears to be a lot....

With all due respect, you asked the question. I would offer that Steve is THE man to listen to on such issues. No affiliation, but I have learned an incredible amount from Steve's posts, and time on the phone. If you really want an education, call him.

I' m not doubting on Steve' s words! It' s probably Bilstein' s data... when you see those two springs together... the small one is so much thinner than the bigger one... in fact at rear there is difference!
