Reverse Signal for nav installation

Reverse Signal for nav installation
Hi Folks,
I'm planning on installing a Becker Cascade (single DIN radio/sat nav unit) this weekend. The Cascade needs a speed pulse signal (green wire from the speedo, found from a recent thread) and can also take an input from a reverse signal.
Can anyone point me to the easiest place to get a signal for selecting reverse? I can't see the reverse signal being crucial to nav operation (I tend not to drive backwards for extended distances, at least when I don't know where I'm going) but will connect everything up if it's easy enough to find. I presume it's going to be a centre console out job, which in itself might be more hassle than it's worth.
Car is a RHD 90 Cab, manual BTW.
Many thanks,
David

Thanks Akerlie, great thread; interesting that the speed pulse and reverse signal can both be found on the HVAC/CCU. Looking forward to giving installation a go this weekend.
