I am also very happy to have bought my RS earlier last year. And it comes with a short 6-gearbox, Turbo-brakes, 300hp and 1180kg. What a car! My very private Le Mans feeling, anytime I want!

Rob,
they are the stock 996 10J x 18 ET 65 which I run with 21mm spacers. I use 265x18 Yokohama semi slicks for the road and really love that combo. Up front 8Jx18 ET 50 with 225x18.
The car seems to run smoother than with the stock 17" mag wheels, turn in (with uniball suspension) and cornering speeds are phenomenal.
For track use I have a set of BBS mag wheels.

OK -- even though I had to blow-up the image to read it, you CAN'T just stop a great article like that by giving us just PAGE 1!
Please, P-B -- would you post the remaining pages?
Thanks for your efforts!
And a general question for all -- why do folks obliterate license #'s in pics, while Walter -- and his story meisters -- don't. Is he any less 'at risk'? Or, are they displaying irresponsible neglect?

Walter is only showing you some dealer plates - his own would be black.
E.g. in Switzerland you can look up the address of any car owner via his licence plates. All date is publicly available. Some simply do not want to invite theft of their cars.

oh! black vs. red lettering... Interesting. thanks. I'll look for that in the future.
Neither the American club magazine, Panorama, or Excellence appear sheepish in displaying tags in articles.
I don't have a '911 World' laying about to confirm if such tag publicity is an American publisher-peculiar laissez-faire practice.
