Does anyone know exactly which year Porsche changed the design and moved the manual movement switch from the engine bay to in front of the gearstick?

My car is a 91 model with the switch inside the car. I've just ordered a new spoiler loom from a scrap yard taken from a 1990 model. The bloke assures me that there isn't a manual switch incorporated into the loom and hence it will fit my car.

Mine is a Nov 89 C4 (Model Year 90) and the switch is inside, so it was moved quite early on.
