Default Wheel Spacers

A heads up.

At the recent rebuild of my rear suspension it was noticed that my rear wheel spacers were cracked. the cracks running between the wheel stud holes. The spacer was a cargraphic item so presumely of reasonable quality. Interestingly the garage had just pulled a similar spacer of a 993 and that was cracked as well with some of the cracks reaching the outer circumference edge of the spacer. I previously broke a "cheap" spacer on a single trackday.

So if you run spacers it might be worth cleaning them up and checking for cracks when the wheel is off.

Thanks. I'll make them a part of my race track prep list.
